Many of us like to vacation and relax while enjoying the local landmarks. However, most of use don’t want to get ourselves in an unpleasant tourist trap and have a miserable time! One of the tourist attractions you might consider avoiding is the Loxahatchee Everglades Rides and Tours. Although this may seem like a fun time, you’ll most likely be having to deal with the heat and humidity and those pesky bugs while out on an everglade boat. The last thing anyone wants is to be hot, sweaty, uncomfortable, and bitten by bugs while they’re trying to enjoy a nice vacation with friends and family!

Another tourist trap you might want to consider avoiding is the Lion Country Safari. While you may be thinking “it isn’t everyday you get to see exotic animals!” You must realize that you will be in an uncomfortable habitat. You’ll be outdoors with wild animals so the heat and humidity will get to you, but on top of that the smell will be very strong. If you’re sensitive to different smells you may want to consider avoiding this tourist trap while you’re staying in Delray Beach. Other than that, enjoy your stay in Delray Beach!

If you’re looking for a dive bar in Delray Beach, look no further than the Ugly Mug Bar & Grill, which is located at 5065 West Atlantic Avenue. Patrons have rated the Ugly Mug Bar & Grill highly for its food, service, atmosphere and value. The average rating is 4 out of 5 stars, which is saying a lot for a dive bar. A good way to approach an evening at the Ugly Mug Bar & Grill is to first visit the Carnival Flea Market at Delray, which is right across the street, then walk to the Chai Yo Thai Bistro down the block and cap it all off with some great drinks and fun at the Ugly Mug Bar & Grill.

If you’re willing to travel a few blocks, go to the Whale’s Rib in Deerfield, which is located at 2031 NE 2nd Street. This establishment has been featured on the Food Network and serves local seafood. The best dish is the rock shrimp and clams. They also offer a raw bar, drive-in service and superb value. This is a hot spot amongst locals so it makes for a great opportunity to make new friends. They can tell you the best places to go and what to see while you’re in town.

In the economy of today, we are always looking for the most affordable options when it comes to moving. If you are moving to Delray Beach, Florida, be sure to take advantage of low cost moving solutions, so you do not spend more money moving than you have to.
The most affordable option to anyone moving would be to pack everything yourself and rent a moving truck to move everything. Ask friends and check out local grocery and big-box stores for free moving boxes. If you have a large family, put them all to work. Ask your friends to take a few hours out of their schedules to help out packing. Make sure to label each box with the room it came from, and label anything fragile. Any fragile items also should be well cushioned. Crumpled up newspaper or even some of your towels can be used to cushion these items from any impact. Find a few strong friends to help load up furniture on the day of moving.
When it comes to renting a moving truck, make sure to call around to find the best bargain. Many companies charge a flat daily rate, while some charge by the mile. Take this in consideration when choosing the best moving truck company for you.

My family and I spent the weekend at Delray Beach Florida and had a
great time. It was really a spur of the moment kind of idea to hit the roads
to the beaches until I figured I didn’t prepare as much as I should have.
It was just great because shopping in Delray Beach was easy, affordable
and convenient.

I grabbed some clothes for the kids at Skadoodles and some for me at
Native Sun. I bought a yellow sundress that was a head turner! There
were nice herbed shampoos and soaps at Bella Reina Spa that smelled so
nice. Of course my hubby grabbed three bottles of wine at Kilwin’s Delray
Beach. We usually have a glass or two when the kids are all spaced out
and tucked in. After a day at the beach with sands on their hair, they hit the
sack really early.

The Green Outdoor Market in Park was also a treat. There were just nice
finds I took home. Some tourists went to Arthur James Galleries to bring
home a painting for souvenir. I got my take home books from Murder on
the Beach Bookstore. I think their store name was really cool. Oh I got to
make these beach vacations regular. If you like what you see, keep going: New Found Life Sober Living Home Announces Opening of Latest Facility to Provide Safe and Secure Sober Living Environment

Delray Beach is a beautiful city in Palm Beach County, Florida. It is a great place to live and vacation, but being close to the ocean in Florida means that being fully prepared for hurricane season is an absolute necessity.

A disaster supply kit is essential to hurricane preparedness. The kit should include a supply of water to last for three days, a supply of non-perishable food that doesn’t require preparation, and a battery-powered radio. A flashlight and a first-aid kit should also be included. The disaster supply kit should be kept in a safe, easy to reach place and should be checked every year.

If multiple people are living together, agree upon a space in the home where everyone should gather in case of a hurricane-related emergency. In case a hurricane strikes and everyone is not at home but are split up, also have a spot somewhere in Delray Beach to get regroup.

It is key during hurricane season to always be on watch for a hurricane watch. If one is issued, one must shut all windows and doors. Many homes in Delray Beach have storm shutters. These should be drawn to help protect you from a potential disaster.
